On the morning of June 13th, College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering holds a seminar for the sophomores and juniors in the 709 Conference Room of Science and Technology Building, Mingxiang Campus, which aims to promote the graduate admission policies and research teams to undergraduates and motivate them to join the teams in advance.
The heads of the relevant departments, the colleges, and twelve leaders in the key scientific research institutions participate the lecture. The lecture is broadcast live with a total of more than 200 undergraduate students participating. The meeting is presided by the vice-dean Wang Anbang.
This lecture is an important way for the college to absorb undergraduates in the laboratory continuously, increase the students’ abilities of innovation and practice, and cultivate high-quality graduate students for College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering of TYUT. At the beginning of the lecture, the policy of graduate candidates exempt from admission exam in 2020 is interpreted, and the situation of the unified national graduate entrance examination in the past five years is introduced in detail. Faced with the severe situation of further education, students are encouraged to set up their goals as soon as possible, participate in scientific and technological practice activities positively, and lay a solid foundation for the following researches.
